the Unsolved Mysteries series from Raintree Childrens Books by Contemporary Perspectives Inc. CPI 1977-1989. Not quite as cool as the Crestwood Monster books, no school library, book fair, or book order form from the 80s is complete without them. I know I had at least half a dozen as a kid.

There is a pie face in cairns central, which I have not patronised. The dimmies nearby are much more attractive but they charge for soy sauce. So I usually opt for a below-average toasted bacon and egg at Raintrees. I note with disgust and outrage that many sausage rolls now have a beef filling.
