<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Hamas and Al-Quds Brigades have said that they "commend the heroic operation carried out by two Palestinian resistance fighters" at the Ramot settlement junction, north of occupied Jerusalem, Al Jazeera has reported. </p>
<p>The Jerusalem operation is a natural response to the occupation's crimes against our people and a message that the enemy's plans will not go unpunished, Hamas has said. </p>
<p>We bless the heroic Jerusalem operation, Al-Quds Brigades has said. </p>
<p>Two Palestinians killed five Israelis and wounded others in a shooting in Jerusalem on Monday. The two men, reportedly from the occupied West Bank, boarded a bus at the Ramot Junction and opened fire using a makeshift “Carlo” submachine gun, according to Israeli media reports.</p>
<p>Both were later shot and “neutralised.” Their identities and current condition remain unclear. At least 17 others were wounded in the shooting.</p>
