Today’s #2026TP stitches are done. Looks like we’ll finish off the week tomorrow without rain and then repeat the rainy weekend to start next week. All the attached yarn gets rolled up inside before she goes back to her bag. And here’s a couple #RandomTPPic too. Happy Friday Eve!

Today’s #RandomTPPic
The TP (temperature project) is a knitted blanket where I use my local climate data to define the details. I’ve selected specific yarn colorways to represent temperature ranges. The color I use each day is determined by the high temperature for that day. If there is any precipitation, I add eyelets to that day to symbolize the raindrops or snowflakes. This year I’ve chosen what we typically think of as cold colors (blue-purple, blue, and green) for the colder temps; and, warm colors (yellow, orange, pink, red) for the warmer temps. Here the blanket is accordioned with Jan on top and today’s stitches at the bottom left.

September 19th-25th

Today’s the last Friday of September, and 14 weeks from today is New Year’s Day. So there’s 13 weeks till Christmas. Can’t wrap my head around that yet.
