An attempt at baby Julian!

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #fanart #Julian #traditionalart
A pencil drawing on plain paper of a toddler, facing forward, legs splayed out, hands braced on the ground, and eyes looking curiously up. To the right of the character are the words "Lil Julian". There is some minor shading done on the torso, the ends of the sleeves, and the bottoms of the feet to indicate patterning or colour differentiation.

This is my Randy Cunningham Sona as a teenager, holding her very little brother (Julian). I decided she needed a tie to the canon characters.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #fanart #traditionalart #oc #sona #selfinsert #julian
A pencil drawing on plain paper of a female presenting teenaged character holding up a toddler in their arms, drawn in the style of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. This is a full body drawing, the teenaged character facing forward and just slightly to the right, holding up a toddler (whose hand is in his mouth) on their left hip.

My Randy Cunningham Sona in high school, sitting with the then-Ninja out-of-suit. The ninja is unnamed, but is a trans-masc nb poc, because the show has no rep, so I will.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #fanart #sona #oc #traditionalart #selfinsert #rc9gn
A pencil drawing on plain paper of two characters in the style of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja sitting side-by-side on an undrawn bench. On the left is the artist's Self Insert Sona character, a teenaged girl with long hair down to her waist, sitting facing forward, knees pointed slightly right, and looking left at the other character, with her right arm extended in a gesture to aid whatever is being said. She wears a concerned expression. The character on the left is a trans-masc nonbinary person of colour with shoulder-length twists, right leg pulled up and folded under the left leg, which hangs over the edge of the bench. They look perplexed and potentially a little stressed.

My design for the Ninja 8 years previous to Randy Cunningham, kneeling/squatting.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #fanart #oc #traditionalart
A pencil drawing on plain paper of a ninja in a semi-ornate suit, drawn in the style of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. The Ninja is knelt down/squatting, leaning forward with hands braces in the ground and looking and facing directly forward/toward the audience.

My Randy Cunningham Sona, but 8 years younger! (as a freshman in high school). Long before they realized they were not a cis girl.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #sona #selfinsert #oc #fanart #traditionalart
Two pencil sketches side by side on plain white paper, picturing a high-school aged girl in an exaggerated cartoon style resembling that of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. Both drawings are full-body. The drawing on the left pictures the girl facing slightly to the left but looking forward and down, her right hand grasping her left arm and resting over her stomach. A backpack sits on the ground, leaned against her right leg. The right drawing pictures the girl facing directly left, with her feet pointed in toward each other and arms hanging by her sides in a nervous posture. Both drawings' expressions look uncertain or nervous.

Context! I made a Randy Cunningham Sona/Self Insert. I also imagined them as a teenager, and decided to design a ninja for that timeline in the show as well. This is the ninja 8 years before Randy Cunningham.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #fanart #oc #traditionalart
A coloured, traditional drawing against plain white paper of an original character designed for Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. This is a design for a previous iteration of the Ninja, shown in a full body pose with their left hand up, waving, and right hand hanging by their side.

Me (Julian's older sibling), oblivious, when Julian comes home from school a little more evil than usual

#randycunningham:9thgradeninja #julian #ghoulian #eviljulian #fanart #traditionalart #oc #sona #selfinsert
A coloured and lined traditional drawing of Evil Julian from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja and the artist's self-insert/persona for the cartoon. The Sona, on the left, stands with a hand raised to their chin and a concerned expression, looking at Evil Julian, on the right, who is hunched forward with hands clasped and smiling manically. The Sona is a female-presenting young adult wearing a white and red 3/4 sleeve t-shirt and black cargo pants, as well as a plain ring, a watch, a bracelet, two necklaces, and large, circular glasses. Evil Julian is presented as his earliest distinct appearance from Julian (in essence, Julian with his usual outfit in a primarily white colour scheme with purple detailings).

This is my Randy Cunningham Sona/self-insert! They're my actual age, 26, and are Julian's older sibling. I like to imagine my sona used to babysit the other high school students in the cast.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #Sona #selfinsert #rc9gn #fanart #traditionalart
A pencil drawing on plain paper of a female-presenting person in the style of the characters in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. They stand facing forward and to the right, eyes forward and right hand propped on a cocked hip. They wear a t-shirt with 3/4 sleeves, cargo pants, and crocks. They have very short curly hair and large, circular glasses. They also wear a watch on their left wrist, a bracelet on their right wrist, and two necklaces.

Guess my favourite ship in the show

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #TheresaFowler #rc9gn #fanart #traditionalart #ship #kiss #cheekkiss idk man tags ig
A coloured traditional drawing on white paper with some soft shading of Randy Cunningham and Theresa Fowler from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. Randy is facing forward, slightly left, and has a stunned expression, implied to be because Theresa, to his left (viewer right) is leaned over, facing directly to the left, kissing his left cheek. The drawing cuts off at Randy's knees and midway down Theresa's calves. Randy wears black pants and an untucked red dress shirt. Theresa wears a teal-green dress with pink highlights on it, and matching thigh-high socks. There is a speech bubble leading off Theresa, above her head, with a small pink heart in it.

I'm very pleased with these drawings. They turned out so pretty!

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #HeidiWeinerman #rc9gn #fanart #traditionalart
Two traditional drawings of Heidi Weinerman from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja against plain white paper. The one on the left is a small, full body drawing in a more cartoon-y style, lined with a grey pen, of Heidi sticking her tongue out, facing forward and to the right, in a pose slightly reminiscent of a curtsy or dance position. The drawing on the right is a bust drawing of Heidi, facing forward and to the left, lined in black and coloured. She wears her dance outfit, and is looking down and right.

A WIP! Hopefully. I want to line and colour it, eventually.

A pencil drawing of Evil Julian in his mech suit, from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, against plain paper. His hands/claws, are curled toward the audience, and his spider-like mech legs have him suspended above the ground, legs curled slightly underneath his body.

Another quick drawing of Randy! I gave him one of my outfits.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #fanart #traditionalart
A pencil drawing of Randy Cunningham from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja against plain white paper. He stands in a frontward 3/4 view facing to the right. He wears a plain turtleneck sweater with the sleeves pushed up and bunched around his arms just above his elbows, and his hands are tucked into the pockets of some cargo pants with the hems of the legs rolled up and pooling around his feet. He looks upward and rightward, and wears a soft smile.

Theresa! She's cute, and fun to draw.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #TheresaFowler #rc9gn #rc9gnTheresa #fanart #traditionalart
A lightly shaded, coloured and lined traditional drawing of Theresa Fowler from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja against plain white paper. She is sitting sideways with knees bent and feet flat on the ground, body facing right, looking up and with her face turned slightly toward the audience. In her left hand she holds up her baton, and her right hand is slightly behind her and braced on the ground. She wears her twirling uniform.

Some sketches of NomiRandy!

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #NomiRandy #fanart #traditionalart
Two pencil sketches on plain paper, and part of a third that is mostly, intentionally, cut off. (The third includes an arm and a leg from a standing pose on the left side of the image) The two primary sketches are of NomiRandy from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. The upper sketch is a bust drawing of NomiRandy smiling subtly and looking to the left, bags under his eyes. The bottom sketch is a profile headshot of NomiRandy facing right and eyes looking toward the audience, somewhat downward.

Randy! My sister noticed my rage sketch of Heidi and said I should try to draw more cartoon-y and not just in my style. So I did. And I LOVE the result. This was the start of like 20 sketches in the following two days.

#RandyCunningham:9ThGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #fanart #traditionalart
A full body pencil sketch on plain paper of Randy Cunningham from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. He stands a little awkwardly, facing forward and to the left. He's bent slightly forward at the torso, with feet spread out and pointing slightly in toward each other. His right arm is bent, forearm hovering over his torso, and his left arm is hanging by his side. His eyes are pointed left, brows raised, and he wears a somewhat surprised/pensive frown.

This is a drawing of Heidi from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, in my style. I learned pretty quick that I need to not take the anatomy so seriously, but it still turned out well.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #RandyCunningham #rc9gn #fanart #Heidi #HeidiWeinerman #traditionalart
A full body pencil drawing on plain paper of Heidi Weinerman from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, wearing her band performance outfit and holding her hands up. Her left hand is held up in the sign for "I love you", and her right hand is up in a peace sign over her right eye. She has her hip cocked and her right leg forward and left leg back. She faces forward and slightly to the right, eyes pointed up and right. In the bottom right corner of the image is a "rage sketch", being a very quick, low-effort sketch of the same character in the same outfit but facing forward and to the left, arms hanging near her sides with palms faced outwards and eyes looking left.

Oh boy! Get ready for. about 25 drawings related to Randy Cunningham, haha. This is my first attempt at drawing Randy, specifically intended as a pfp for our fictive of Randy. I'll colour it.... eventually.

#RandyCunningham:9thGradeNinja #rc9gn #RandyCunningham #fanart #traditionalart
A pencil sketch on plain paper of Randy Cunningham from Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. He is depicted with the intent of a small age-up, around 16 years (as opposed to his canon age of 14 years). It depicts his upper body, cutting off just below the hips, and he wears his ninja uniform with the mask pulled off and held in his lifted left hand. His right hand is up and clutching at his scarf. He's facing forward and slightly to the left, with eyes pointed right.
