#Ranuculus
Depending on your perspective I've either succumbed to, or defeated the Ranunculus sweater FOMO! Knit from out of the now discontinued Hoosic from Jill Draper Makes Stuff, harvested from a previously knit sweater I was no longer wearing. #knitting #ranuculus #sweater #slowfashion #reuse

I'm very happy with my decision to bring my first Ranunculus as my vacation project. But having it on the brain has caused me to buy yarn for a second 🧶🧶 so I hope I'm happy with the final results! #knitting #vacationknitting #sweaterknitting #ranuculus

Buttercups are in full bloom at Dundreggan! 🌼

Did you know that the latin for buttercup (Ranuculus) translates into english as ‘little frog’? That’s because buttercups are almost always found beside water with a frog friend nearby! 🐸

Statice, eucalyptus leaves, roses, something that looks like peonies buds, but I actually think they're ranuculus.

We only have 3 species here up north. 2 only collect pollen from Campanula (and the males sleep in the flowers, sometimes even 2-3 of em at the same time), and 1 only from Ranuculus (and that one might even be my fav bee species, Chelostoma florisomne with the hairiest mandibles ive ever seen).

Spotted this in a shallow stream on the Sychnant pass above Conway. Figured some kind of water crowfoot (the AI on iNaturalist suggests round-leaved, Ranuculus omiophyllus)

🌱 Christiana’s Ranuculus all decided to bloom this week thanks to the heat we’ve been having. This spring has been about as bad as possible for overwintered flowers, but at least they’re as beautiful as ever!

Both these Atlantic Salmon parr and the glistening strands of Water Crowfoot (Ranuculus), together with, at the end of the video, Water Starwort (Callitriche), are indicators that the waters of the River Lowther are relatively clean. Yet the strands of green algae show it could be cleaner. 14/20

Same zone, I left my ranuculus in the semi-raised beds and they came back for about two years but with fewer double petals. Then the spring before this one none of them came up, although the daffs and tulips and anemones continued to. In a pot the corms may stay drier but might freeze in winter?
