I know this is whiny--and I do whine sometimes--but why in the heck does the #Chase @southwestairlines.bsky.social customer service person not know if I keep my #SWA #RapidRewards points if I close my Chase-SWA card?

Told me to call SWA because they didn't know.

I got so disappointed with Southwest Airlines that I needed to write them an email just to feel something.

Here’s how it starts:
Email which begins: Dear Bob, As a lifelong Texan and frequent traveler for both business and leisure, Southwest Airlines has been my go-to airline for my entire life. RapidRewards was the very first corporate program I joined when I turned 18. Southwest Airlines has always been my first choice of airline because your company treated its customers and its employees like human beings, when every other airline was only concerned about the bottom line. They were cattle carriers. You were different. You cared. You loved. That love apparently died with Herb Kelleher.

Well, with the decline of Democracy, comes the decline of Southwest Airlines. New mgmt is all uber corporate and when I first heard they were laying off people, I knew it was the start of the end. Closing bases and drastically cutting RapidRewards program. Ain't broke don't fix it. They'll find out.
