An apparent #RayedSunSymbol #petroglyph at Winnemucca Lake seems to depict the sun surrounded by its corona during a #TotalSolarEclipse.
If so, it's the oldest depiction of a total solar eclipse I know of, because the petroglyph is dated from 10-15 millennia old.

I agree with you that "there's a lot more work to do" to determine whether or not the foundations of this unusual circular structure are intended to look like a large #RayedSunSymbol with a #SolarCross in its innermost circle, but it's a very real possibility that should be investigated further.

A few days ago it came to my attention that an unusual 4 millennia old "circular structure" had been discovered on a mountain in Crete. An aerial photo of the structure looked like a #RayedSunSymbol with a #SolarCross in its innermost circle.
