Kim tested his way to a seat at the table. Iran watched one nuclear program get bombed and another get courted. That gap is the entire lesson, and every Gulf capital with a reactor is now recalculating. Paper Trail Geo walked through that math.

Have they agreed on a schedule yet, like even weeks “our model nearly blew up a nuclear reactor, we’re so prou–*cough* i mean sorry” and odd “our models adhere to the highest industry moral standards” or something?

Thanks to his experience in the ISU Hands-On Nuclear Criticality Safety Workshop, he was asked to become a Fissile Material Handler, building the fuel assemblies for Aalo’s critical test reactor and helping the company meet the July 4 criticality deadline.

Metal as fuck.

Imagine if we'd never discovered current battery tech and we had to run miniature versions of these in our laptops or phones!

Also I think Reactor just put out a GINORMOUS list of middle-grade books today or yesterday if we need more current stuff

Like everything I can recommend was probably written in like the 60s - 90s

(Oh also has she read the Duncton Woods books, which are nuts.)

It's all gotten so weird in our government.
It would be like our Congress approving 10 billion dollars to build a nuclear reactor plant in Washington State, and then Trump takes that 10 billion dollars and gives it to Argentina.
I can't get my mind to wrap itself around this problem any longer.

A reactor in eastern China just went from groundbreaking to criticality in about five years, a fraction of what America's last nuclear build took. Here's why that pace could matter for your bill.

look i'm just saying.

if you have a robot OC with some form of reactor that can convert raw material -> fuel -> fat, and if their standards are low enough, they are literally surrounded by thousands of potential pounds of fat every moment they're just standing in a field.
