Deeper thoughts on ReBlade here! ChillyRoom are an interesting studio. On the larger side of Chinese indies, it seems. They've produced a TON of games across all genres, from classic RTS to tactical RPGs and roguelikes, but all 2D or 2.5D until now.

With ReBlade (and LouLan), they're aiming HIGH.

Just tried the demo for ReBlade, and had two main thoughts:

1: They really liked Sekiro's parrying.

2: There is a very specific brand of brain-genius cyberhorny in finding a way for the heroine to need no pants (because her bottom half is transparent plastic and you can see her robo-skeleton)

Okay, people are already getting really depressed and frustrated with the Next Fest, so I'll say what I said last time round:

Wait a day or two. They order the games on the pages by hours played, and 99% of the AI garbage will sink like a stone. Right now it's just undifferentiated and unranked.
