Two Eagles Not At All Alike In Dignity

#ReaScribbles
A painting of an African crowned eagle tearing at the breast of a bald eagle, posed and framed in similar fashion to works of St. Michael stepping on Lucifer.

This is how you live beyond the shack, outside the truck.
I know it hurts but keep your word.
Be brave. Get up.

An android woman frowns determinedly. Sweat and tears run down her face. She is in the process of getting back to her feet by leaning on a cane.

So there's this adolescent boy with a sword who found himself abruptly robbed of his faith and innocence.

A young android carrying a younger boy on his back. The younger boy has a tail and is gripping a sheathed katana close to his chest. The android's face is damage and a red light shines from one eye. Both are frowning at something off screen.

A handsome Sahagin from the South Seas.

#ReaScribbles | #LeLievreNoir
A grayscale portrait of a Sahagin from FF14 in a bone harness adorned with black pearls. The only color is a splash of red on his fins and claws. There is a small doodle in the lower corner (see next image) A light scribble of a sahagin sitting on a beach in the sun. A makeshift mortar and pestle from stone and oyster shells sits beside them while they admire the fresh color on their claws and fins. Text reads: "Coral Dye: Very attractive among tropical Sahagin clans"

This was a real thing that happened that I consider completely canon to Ash and Thorn's friend(?)ship and I think of this shitpost of an event every time I consider what my favorite memory of playing xiv with a friend is.

A scribble of a viera in mid-cast. His tongue is poking out from the corner of his mouth as he focuses on the black mage rotation, displayed on the left via Dance Dance Revolution arrows with skill icons on them. At the bottom is the lifebar of the enemy he's fighting: Famfrit, the Darkening Cloud A dragonsight icon pops up between his ears. He looks away from the boss to figure out where it came from. In the distance, a dragoon stands about the blob-crowd of the other alliance members. Zooming in, it is a skinny, freckled half-elezen with a cloud of hair. She is winking at him and giving him a thumbs up. The text around her reads: [B]arse Da World, My Final Message A 3 panel sequence: Panel 1: The viera looks disgusted. The word "Gross" floats beside his head. Below it, a picture of a castbar for Tsunami is filling. Panel 2: He notices, bug-eyed and sweating, that the Tsunami cast bar is there and almost full. The JP onomatopoeia for 'menacing' / 'rumbling' is drawn over it. Panel 3: He is punished for his hubris and swept away by the wave.

A study in grieving habits [3.1] vs [5.4]

#ReaScribbles | #LeLievreNoir | ##ffxiv | #ffxivart
A cold-hued image of a sunken-eyed viera sitting in the snow. They're holding a ball-jointed doll that resembles an elezen woman in one hand a long strip of blue cloth in the other. The same viera, sprawled atop a destroyed Garlean magitek unit with a stardost rod in hand. The cockpit is empty save for a violent splash of blood, and the field surrounding them had been freshly razed and is still burning. Three lines of lyrics from 'Ain't No Sunshine' by Bill Withers drift out in the same color as their cigarette smoke against a backdrop of cinders and war fog.

A viera (Ashlesha Golmorr) and a hyur (Lyse Hext) glare at each other. They are both soaking wet, clearly put out about how that happened, and think it's the other person's fault. A 3-panel sequence: Panel 1: Ashlesha expresses irritation with Lyse in the foreground. In the background, blurry sketches of two men (Magnai and Hien) observe. Panel 2: Lyse fires back her own irritation, jabbing a finger in Ashlesha's face, which he takes offense to. In the background Magnai asks "Why are your womenfolk fighting?" Hien spits. Panel 3: Ashlesha and Lyse have their fists raised and each other's collars snatched. They were ready to fight, but instead they both look at Magnai in silence. In the background Magnai is confused, and Hien is laughing. An 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' styled title card which reads: Lyse Hext and the Warrior of Light Troll Magnai the Older.

Two elezen and viera piled on a bed in various states of undress. The two elezen are just starting to wake up. The viera is dead asleep and drooling. There are astrologian cards scattered around and the general mood is that the three probably got too drunk on game night. A minimalist sketch of a hyur who has clearly walked in on them and irritated by the sight.

The Crystal Exarch embracing a viera, Ashlesha, who is kissing his cheek. The sketch is in warm monochrome except for the blue and gold of the Exarch's crystallized arm and a ring on the viera's hand. The shadow of a skeleton shows beneath the crystal. A sketch of Ashlesha crawling between the Exarch's open legs to kiss him. There is no color except for the blue shadow of the Exarch's skeleton in the patches where his crystal would be, and a single nipple piercing hanging from Ashlesha's chest.
