~2 hrs till my #ReactAlicante talk. Definitely feeling the nerves now. 😄

Bree comienza su charla con fuerza a @reactalicante.es

Bree starts her talk with a bang at ReactAlicante!

Really excellent React / Next.js Server Components workshop this morning from @aurorascharff.no - learned a ton that I'll be applying to SimpleRSS! 🙂 She managed to squeeze a ton in even with the building briefly catching fire and being evacuated (for real).

Day two of #ReactAlicante (@reactalicante.es). Well, day one for folks who didn't do workshops. But I did! Shout out to @tkdodo.eu for helping to expand my knowledge of TanStack Query, and to @flaviocorpa.com for stretching my brain with functional programming in TypeScript!

I present tomorrow! 😅

Alright #ReactAlicante it was a pleasure! See you next year

My conference lineup for 2023 to date:

April: ✈️ ReactMiamiConf 🌴 🎭
June: ✈️ ReactNext 🇮🇱🌱
September: ✈️ ReactAlicante 🇪🇸🌱

Well that's a first - an electrical socket in the building where #ReactAlicante is being held caught fire. So the fire suppression system went off, dumped white powder all over the hallway, and we all had to evacuate through burning plastic smoke. Crazy!

I spent the end of last week at the React Alicante conference in Alicante, Spain. I learned a lot of great tidbits from the talks and workshops, and it was awesome meeting so many friendly and talented software developers from around the world! #React #ReactAlicante

I've learned so much about React Server Components and React 19 hooks at #ReactAlicante already that I wish I'd known about before I started SimpleRSS! They'd have made a lot of stuff I've struggled with in terms of synchronization MUCH easier. Might have to rewrite some parts of it.

Buenos dias from #ReactAlicante! Let's learn some stuff 😄
