ONE YEAR! Honestly, it feels like a decade & I mean that in the best way. My life has been so full of incredible moments and people since then it’s really hard to imagine it’s only been a year. I had no idea what this book my might achieve for me a year ago and tonight I’m speaking at a university.

I've seen some truly unhinged readalike suggestions for Fourth Wing, though nothing still as left field as the time someone told me with a straight face that a good readalike for Kuang's Babel was Atlas Shrugged.

When you need to search your own goodreads to remember a book you read to possibly use as a readalike for another book in a review.

All I can remember is that I read it and wrote a review. A dude wrote it. It was awhile ago. And the cover was dark.

I recently discovered the joy of listening to Edward Ashton's science fiction book MICKEY7 on audio and am looking forward to the next in the series, including MICKEY PRIME, coming in February 2027. It was a good readalike for fans of the Murderbot series. #ewgc
