Stop banning books.

Lost Gospels written by women. Cairo, Egypt. This one reads like the best Indiana Jones.

Making it a personal goal to reread the now “banned” books that I read when I was younger. Unfortunately, this one is hitting way too close to home.

Update: Finished "The Sapling Cage". It's great. I'm looking forward to the next installment and seeing how Lorel and her friends and allies handle what comes next.

What I'm reading in April:

The Sapling Cage by Margaret Killjoy
Verity Vox and the Curse of Foxfire by Don Martin
Rogue Community College by David R Slayton ✅
The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty (the audiobook is excellent)

Reading brings joy.

Some reading assignments:

"Where the Jews Aren't: The Sad and Absurd Story of Birobidzhan, Russia's Autonomous Region"

and

"Surviving Autocracy"

Both written by Masha Gessen. I recommend the audio books either from your Library or through Libro.fm.
