#ReadySet
Valencia in two weeks. 🇪🇸

The Readyset team will be at PostgreSQL Conference Europe on October 20-23.

Let’s talk about getting more out of Postgres without adding more infrastructure or more complexity. Coffee on us. calendar.app.google/YrZvVBJRgpRJ...

Pointing your app at a different host is not usually how you add a cache. With a wire-compatible SQL caching proxy, that can be the only change your app needs to get faster repeated queries and less database load. Same driver, same SQL, without building caching logic into your code.
What Is a Wire-Compatible SQL Caching Proxy? | Readyset
A wire-compatible SQL caching proxy caches database queries transparently, with no cache keys or code changes. How it works, how it differs from Redis, and more.

Our September product update is live! 📊

We’re excited to share two big announcements this month. Plus a full round of product improvements and everything else the Readyset team was up to in September in the update below: readyset.io/blog/septemb...
September 2026 Product Update | Readyset | Readyset
RDST is now Apache 2 licensed with free hosted inference, and a single Readyset node hit 4.3M queries per second. Plus MySQL and Postgres cache-correctness fixes.

We are thrilled to share that RDST now runs on free hosted inference from Readyset. Sign in with a Readyset account and every AI-powered part of the tool runs without an API key or token costs on your end.

RDST is also now Apache 2.0 licensed. Full details: readyset.io/blog/whats-n...
RDST Is Now Apache Apache 2.00 Licensed and Has Free Unlimited Inference | Readyset | Readyset
RDST is now released under the Apache 2.0 License with free, unlimited Readyset-hosted inference. A Postgres and MySQL query analysis tool from Readyset.

Most 2027 infrastructure budgets are still being built on the assumption that cloud costs fall every year.

We put together a briefing on why the database absorbs the pressure first, and which efficiency moves pay back at today's prices.

How the AI Buildout Is Repricing the Rest of Your Infrastructure | Readyset
A look into how the AI buildout pushes costs into ordinary infrastructure, why databases are impacted first and hardest, and which fixes pay off today and protect you as prices continue to rise.

Most cache invalidation bugs don't throw errors, they just serve the wrong answer until someone notices.

We built a lab on the Lobsters schema from the Noria paper and ran six read paths against identical writes. readyset.io/blog/cache-i...
Cache Invalidation for SQL Queries: How to stop writing it yourself | Readyset
Cache invalidation is the hardest part of caching SQL queries. Here's why TTLs and manual keys break, and how incremental view maintenance avoids both.

Caching logic shouldn't live in your application.

With the Readyset Platform, point your app at Readyset instead of directly at the database.

You picked up an MR-03 ReadySet and every thread hands you a different shopping list. The list matters less than the order you buy in. Bearings and tires before anything with a motor in it. Fifty dollars, in sequence.

Readyset is proud to sponsor MySQL BR Conf 2026.

@tanmaysinha.bsky.social is presenting "Building the Invisible Cache" at 10:10 in the Library: why MySQL’s query cache failed and how Readyset takes a different approach with adaptive, self-tuning caching.

The Readyset team had a great time sponsoring Percona Live Amsterdam and connecting with the community last week. Marcelo Altmann also gave an excellent talk, “What Happened to the MySQL Query Cache?”

Thanks to all who stopped by and to @percona.bsky.social for organizing a great event!

You are still on the radio that came in the ReadySet and the steering feels vague at speed. Some of that is the servo. Some is a transmitter with no rate adjustment, no curve, no model memory. What upgrading actually buys you.

A single Readyset node now serves 4.3 million queries per second, more than twice what we measured with PostgreSQL and almost three times what we measured with MySQL on the same server. We cut CPU cost per query from 45.7µs to 21.7µs.

Here’s how: readyset.io/case-studies...
4.3 Million QPS on a Single Node: Readyset MySQL & Postgres Benchmark | Readyset
Readyset now serves 4.3 million queries per second from a single node, over 6x higher than the previous release and nearly 3x faster than MySQL on the same hardware.

Even in memory, MySQL and Postgres still plan and execute every query. Readyset bypasses that work for repeated reads.

Watch throughput climb as Vini caches 22 queries, reaching up to 2,000x the performance of MySQL alone.

Our August product update is live. 🚀

We launched the Readyset Platform, a self-tuning query acceleration layer you can demo right in our rdst desktop app. Adaptive Cache shipped and is already dropping p95 staleness by 97% compared to a standard TTL cache.

A self-tuning cache earns trust when it can show what happened to freshness, not just speed. Readyset says Adaptive Cache cut p95 staleness by 97% against a standard TTL cache. That is the number I would watch while deciding whether to let software tune production queries.
