Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the #HotWheels Corvette Grand Sport Roadster from the 2015 Track Aces release. I'll be customizing this as a #Gaslands version of The Machine Gun from the Death Race 2000 film (1975). I had sourced a pair of Lego tommy guns for the front, but one's gone missing.

Just to name a couple examples: massive bumpers in case the bus breaks down and needs to be pushed; the use of orange and red rearlights (and also the large lamp sets matching the rest of the TransLink fleet)

Happy to finally post the old photos from one of my favorite moments in my life. I also have uploaded the photos on my website for anyone who would like to see the original resolution of such moments. icedcocoa.org/events/N_Cit...

New photo's of the little toy car nightlamp I made for Jason, with the light turned. It's so cute 😍

A custom 3D-printed nightlamp designed to resemble a small cartoon-style car. The car has a shiny purple body, four black wheels with silver hubs, and round headlights. Its dome-shaped roof is a glowing white light diffuser, topped with a small blue translucent siren-like cap. A nameplate on the front bumper reads "JASON" in bold black letters. The lamp sits on a wooden surface next to a ceramic flowerpot. Front view of a custom 3D-printed nightlamp designed to resemble a small cartoon-style car. And no yellow vests nor helmets. And flashing red rearlights are illegal. Cities are for people not for cars.

This is the Volume 3 Custom of the 2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport Mk7. With a bright glitched up livery, an aerodynamic body kit, and rearlights that feature animations, the modern day Golf GTI turns into one of the most vibrant-looking vehicles in Lakeshore!

Paintjob is based on this one. Saw it a few years ago & wanted to remake that as a HotWheels. Took some time till I found the paint color, the diecast looks in natura just like the original color. Wheels are spinning properly too. Rearlights are just taken from the GT-R34 lol
