Thanks so much for making it! The art style in particular is so distinctive and evokes original Rebelstar so well. Every new mechanic I wrap my head around feels like it blooms with possibility. Really looking forward to the full release.

ArchRebel (demo, steam) is a bit nice, if you're hankering for a Rebelstar/Laser Squad style game. Which, of course, I was. Admirable levels of polish without losing the appropriate feel.

Also play Archrebel. The demo is a single mission... that's also a rolling 6-8 hour long ever-expanding scenario, in full Ironman mode. Make a bad call and lose a squaddie? They're just gone and you're going to have to deal with that for the rest of the mission.

Also FANTASTIC audio and visuals.

I was there, Gandalf. 3,000 years ago, in 1984. I played the very first turn-based tactical squad game. By Julian Gollop of X-COM fame himself, then probably about 14 years old
