Tonight’s game using Rebels and Patriots. This scenario was based on a clash in the summer of 1802 where a Russian and Aleut party trapping furs near Sitka, Alaska, was attacked by a large force of Tlingit. #miniatures #wargaming #tlingit #rebelsandpatriots #nerdlings

After a very hesitant start in which one of the Tlingit warbands wandered off the table after rolling a double one, the locals caught up with the Russians, putting ‘Sniper Gidak’s’ unit to flight and cutting down some Aleutian hunters. #miniatures #wargaming #tlingit #rebelsandpatriots #nerdlings

Party leader Ivan Urbanov suffered casualties but made it to his boat where he successfully loaded the swivel gun and made a hasty exit with two groups of Aleuts. Good fun in what is probably the most obscure period I currently game in! #miniatures #wargaming #tlingit #rebelsandpatriots #nerdlings

The recently completed AWI riflemen have me thinking about what to paint next.

Common sense dictates that I should finish something already underway, so it's time to give these partially completed Perry Lee's Legion figs some attention.

Next, a fairly heavy drybrush of VMC 876 - Brown Sand.

I know it doesn't look like much of a change in the attached pics (thanks lighting 😐) but this has definitely lifted the thing and provided some nice effects "in person".

Enough for today.
