#Rebuke666SCOTUS
In today’s “One First,” I wrote about #SCOTUS’s June 26 ruling in Medina—which not only allowed South Carolina to unlawfully prevent Planned Parenthood from servicing Medicaid patients, but did so by making it harder to enforce *any* federal spending power statute against states that violate them:
166. Medina, 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and the Spending Clause
The June 26 ruling allowing South Carolina to get away with kicking Planned Parenthood out of Medicaid is based on a troubling new presumption—and includes an even more alarming concurrence.
