Why stop there? LinkedIn, LinkedLunatics, CSCareerQuestions, RecruitingHell, every employment adjacent subreddit is basically Stormfront for Desi’s at this point. Doesn’t even stop there, it extends to EVERYTHING. Housing subs, Dating subs, InterestingAsFuck, Worldnews etc. It’s inescapable.

Today I had a phone screening with a recruiter who, after explaining my last three jobs working with React and JS/TS microservices on AWS, said “I’m not sure this would be a good fit, they’re looking for someone with experience in Node”
I had to go, “hol up a second.”

I didn't realize how bad this was until I saw a r/recruitinghell post about a manager who asked an applicant for a photo of their hair for a food prep job then just sent back a chatGPT response to "is this person's hair too long for food prep?" and did not hire them over chatGPTs thought on the hair
