I eventually needed a new grill & went w/ a pellet grill. Smoke all the same stuff & more plus chicken thighs, steak, burgers & chops etc. Super versatile & hard to screw up.
Now on 2nd pellet grill (Recteq expensive & well built). Use all year long 1hr south of MSP.

Can’t go wrong with a RecTeq. Built very well. Long warranty, with great customer service. I’ve had two and love it. I also have a BGE, a Weber gas grill and a griddle and I use the RecTeq the most.
