Okay, so I finished the three book series last week.

Book 2 (“Scoring Chance”) is a friends-to-lovers meets “fake relationship” scenario. Book 3 (“King of the Crease”) is a hidden-identity story. Both of these had a sweetness about them mixed with the graphic sex and fun writing.

I do believe that baby has some Siamese and hem or her! Our red tabby female lived to be 25. This was decades ago and she had two litters before she was spayed. She made it with Buddha Siamese cat doors down, and the kittens look like this some of them had a little more faint orange.

Near the end I came upon a stretch of sparsely-grown, sandy lakeshore strewn with rocks and gravel. Both the gravelly ground and many of the scraggly, peculiar plants growing out of it were ordinarily underwater.
A cloudless evening sky of soft light blue. We are standing next to a large lake, on a broad swath of what is normally lake bed, exposed by a long drought. The ground here is covered with light gray rocks and gravel. A bunch of ragged looking shrubs are growing where they could take root. Many are sporting red, orange or gold foliage. The rocky exposed lake bed shoreline continues around the lake. Beside that rises several low ridges, covered by a mixed forest of conifers and hardwoods. Many of the latter are also beginning to turn autumn colors.

Five or six fishermen were out on the water in small boats — quite a few people to see all at once in this remote part of Maine.
