This has always been who Amazon are. They don't do any genuine effort to verify sellers, we had problems with them 20-years ago selling hardcopy of IBM redbooks that were available as PDF for free. It was cheaper to send the PDF to FedEx....

When I was a “boy”, I had a bunch of Cosmos and Redbooks hidden under my mattress. 😭
my @transplantszine.bsky.social copy came in the mail, my cis gf picked it up and said "This is so great, you didn't get to read these magazines because you were a boy"
