Humanity might be the limit of a limitless universe/
experiencing itself, uniquely empowered to articulate every sensation experienced in white space//
Or not. Probably not.

This prompt definitely challenged me!
Red Room Poetry Month Day 4

For humans create gods to explain the existence of humans / Then demigods to elevate humans and limit gods / When our gods fall, humans become limitless

My foot, a giant
amongst plankton, algae, minute crustacea
(that my fallible eyes
couldn’t possibly see)
pebbles, stones, treacherous,
jagged rocks
my foot, so adapted to land
like a finned creature
weightless
pulled by a thing as frivolous
as the moon

Another Prelude

'Is this your best handwriting?'
Asked Sister Bridgette Agnes.
Is it?
I'm not perfect.
But I think, I walk, I listen,
I ACT,
And I try
I try
I try-
to be
kind.

In that moment, there is something like pride, that isn’t pride, / love that isn’t love alone, surprise that is genuinely surprising, / There is no word for that feeling when they say, “you saved my life.”
