Red Wolf Week is here! 🐺This year, we’re raising $25K to purchase 25 new GPS radio collars for Red Wolf research. These collars help our researchers track Red Wolves in the wild and better understand their movements, behavior, and the ecosystems they call home.

Gorgeous Red Wolf giving us the look! Just to be clear, what you hear in the background are not wolf howls. Hence the look.

38 years ago, Red Wolf howls returned to NC when 8 captive-born wolves were released. Since then, more have followed, including Red Wolf Deven from the WCC in 2021.

This #RedWolfWeek we honor their journey and look ahead to more releases and a future where they thrive.

It's a few days late, but here's a sticker design for #redwolfweek !! The shape behind the wolf is the tiny area that these creatures call home. No it's not a coyote.

It's #RedWolfWeek! We are celebrating with new red wolf art, available as an exclusive pin, stickers, original watercolor painting, and more! The design features stylized red-tailed hawk feathers, a raptor common where the wolves live. tinyurl.com/me9r66ac
