I'm trying to delete my Tweets before deleting my account but can't get RedactDev working properly. I'm going to try another app but if that fails just deactivating account tonight. So glad the migration is on 🙂

On Redactdev it is possible to exclude some things from being deleted. And evidently there's some way to send them here? But how I don't know.
With my volume it just seemed impossible and depressing to wade through.

So I assume you can download your stuff before deleting, but I have not done it yet...this is the app that seems to work the easiest.

Ich habe vor einigen Tagen mein Archiv angefordert und heruntergeladen. Heute habe ich mir die App redactdev installiert und dann die Tweets gelöscht. Vorhin habe ich gemerkt, dass es noch nicht alle waren, also habe ich das noch mal durchlaufen lassen. Ich hoffe, dass jetzt alles gelöscht ist.

JOKES ON ME the cheapest way to delete all my 105k tweets is at 7usd (redactdev doesn't work for me for some reason????) so I'm just gonna lock my account in the meantime lmfao

welp ok. step 1 is to request an archive of my data on tw which I've already done.
step 2 is to delete everything and if I delete smth I shouldn't have deleted, well, it's not like any one of us will remember what it is is.
and then step 3 is to lock it to friends.
