I was just reminded of this and now I'm upset all over again. Who can I lean on for a Reevesverse GCPD show??
I regret to inform you that I am going to be very annoying about campaigning for this. Don't we have a Riddler comic in the Reevesverse already? Let me get a Gordon one. Proof of concept for the show.

For example, here are some shows I would green light:
1) One Hitman season starring Tom Hardy and Jessica Williams
2) A Gotham show (Wright vehicle) about policing and politics set in the Reevesverse
3) An action comedy miniseries with Wildcat (Bautista) and Black Canary II (Infiniti).

Not to open up a can of worms, but what's the deal with Catwoman? Does someone have beef with Zoe over there? Scheduling conflicts? Why is it such a boy's club? Because I can accept a recast to get more Reevesverse Selina. At least give us a comic miniseries.

I love the Reevesverse. So much. It is the darker (no pun intended) and multicultural version of Gotham that I've longed for. And since Marvel has dropped the ball so painfully with its street-level characters of color, it was really the only place I was getting those stories.

I love The Batman so much. It is my jam. It is my favorite. These are the kind of universes I want. They aren't for everybody, but the Reevesverse and the Absolute universe are not hurting anybody and the people who are fans are very happy and satisfied.

I think it makes for a nice counter to The Penguin--set in the Reevesverse but focused on the cops and politicians. If Reeves gets a Batman trilogy, they could have one final series focused on the media and medicine.

Even the Reevesverse--as much as I love it--isn't free of this. We've had a Batman movie, a Penguin TV series, and a Riddler comic series. Guess who hasn't had ****? Catwoman.

I need Hollywood to break out of the mindset that multiple universes mean competing universes. The Reevesverse is for adults. You take the family to see Superman and then you plop down on the couch to watch your Gotham watercooler show.

It doesn't really need another season. The point of it was to set up the Reevesverse variant of the character to fight Batman which they did. If they do another season of TV I'd want it to be another set up for another Reevseverse villain, not more Penguin cause that story's done

I like following a small little world! I think that's a reason why I enjoy the Reevesverse. Because it succeeds without falling into the one trap set for micro lines in comics or in live action. A lack of diversity.

Anyway, here's what I want--I want a rebooted Marvel Street that does right by Luke and Misty for once. I want the Wildstorm universe back. And I want a damn Catwoman series set in the Reevesverse.

The finale of #ThePenguin solidified it for me as the greatest comic book show ever. Bleak and heartbreaking stuff. Oz officially earning his place as the most hatable, despicable villain in the entirety of the Reevesverse. Completely irredeemable and pathetic.
