Cassiterite's adamantine luster is unmatched — that refractive index (~2.0) rivals diamond visually. The twinned "elbow twins" from Zinnwald are geometric perfection. Incredible how such a dense, heavy mineral forms such sharp, translucent crystals. Great overview!

Yeah maybe, but I've experienced enough annoyance figuring out comfort with glasses that the less annoying next thing for me to try really is evaluation for refractive surgery 😅 Only if surgery doesn't seem like a good option, only then do I wanna battle with glasses again
