On the left third of the poster is a photo of RM outside on the street wearing a track suit jacket and black pants. He is jumping with his right arm pointed straight up in the air. The rest of the poster has a beige background with animated flowers along the bottom. Text elements include: the campaign hashtag Read with RM, OIAA birthday campaign 2025, Start a Library Trust logo with their motto “A library in every school”, a description of the campaign and websites for the charity and OIAA. The campaign text reads: Start a Library Trust (SAL) is a Kenya-based non-profit founded in 2012 with a mission to champion literacy in Africa by creating thriving communities of learners and teachers. They collaborate with schools to set up sustainable libraries, providing access to books, educational resources, and literacy programs. SAL aims to improve literacy rates and educational outcomes in underserved communities by fostering a lifelong love for reading and learning. SAL’s new campaign Refresh the Shelves is just in time for International Literacy Week celebrations (Sept 8th-12th). Some of SAL’s earliest libraries, the very ones that started their program, are running out of stories. The shelves are still standing, but the books have been well loved and are now old, torn, and too few to keep the magic alive. The campaign looks to revive 20 of their oldest libraries.
