One of my favourite bands of all time released their first album 40 years ago this week. And it still sounds fantastic

For some reason only known to my subconscious mind I haven’t been able to stop listening to this all week. At home, to and from the hospital..I loved it when it was released too, but no one else I knew did. youtu.be/EQfHuOOnYwo?...

🎧 Welcome Home Pointers
it's an all-80s, all-vinyl weekend in honor of the 28th anniversary of the class of '86 reunion.

Du kan förresten få en skiva tillbaka. Kolla upp Ernest Ranglins Below the bassline. Fin reggaejazz.

Wow! I'd love to find that for B.A.D. Megatop Phoenix. The samples make the album. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQfH...

"Rootsman Skanking" is an edited, international re-release of Bunny Wailer's earlier "Rock N Groove" album. This is the album that got me into his music and remains one of my favorites. The melodies and instrumentation of the band are incredible, it's an all-timer record.

Currently listening to Big Audio Dynamite's Megatop Phoenix album and enjoying it a lot.

I remember a college DJ, back when it was released, played it in full after saying, "This is the future of music."

It is a jam.
