Her working in rehabs and becoming a therapist and such, it all struck me as, again, just unbelievably sad. Ultimately so many who become professionals working in these systems just needed help, themselves, as is so often the case. So so so many who become therapists ... need healing themselves.

oh man, I'd been actively trying to quit for 2 years, multiple inpatient rehabs, lots of groups, different attempts & tactics, then I had a week-long hospital stay over Halloween last year & haven't looked back since. it just.. stuck this time. it's been hard every step but GOD the fight is worth it
