💥Announcement! Wednesday 13.05.2026💥 💐🕯 Justice for our fellow student Mahmud Azhar 🕯💐 Wednesday, 13.05.2026 | 6.00 pm | Rotes Café, Ihnestraße 22, 14195 Berlin Arrival: U3 Freie Universität | Bus 110 Bitscher Straße 📣 Call to action: https://asanb.noblogs.org/?p=17254 - @rotescafeberlin #b1305 #RememberMahmud Come along on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 to the Rotes Café for our information evening, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque ❤️ Mahmud Azhar was a research assistant and PhD student at the Institute of Biochemistry at the Free University of Berlin when he died in 1990 as a result of a racist attack carried out against him at the university. We want to challenge the erasure of his murder and, together with our fellow students, learn about the life and death of Mahmud Azhar, as well as how the events were handled in the aftermath, with a particular focus on the FU’s shameful conduct. ♿️ Rotes Café, Ihnestraße 22 (stairs and cellar door at the rear of the building, or for more accessible entry via the ramp leading to the institute’s cellar at the rear of the building) 💬 If you have any questions, feel free to message us here on Instagram or by email (rotescafe@riseup) (We’ll provide the flowers 💐)
