YOUNG people dealing with the loss of a loved one can now access bereavement support through a free app developed for a Scottish charity. Justin Michael, founder of Aberdeen-based software company Cog Mobile, designed the Archie’s Child Bereavement Service app for The Archie Foundation, the Scottish charity behind the service. The app gives children and teenagers a private space to process their grief, with tools to record feelings on a scale of one to 10, save photos and memories, and set reminders for important dates.
