It's weirdly common in the third versions and idk why, you couldn't get Mareep or Remoraid in Crystal or Jynx in Yellow for example

Yamper is so perfect and then it evolves into something that looks like a completely different evo line à la Blastoise / Dragonite (Boltund you’re cute but you’re not Yamper >:C)
