UPDATE: In a statement, DHS accused the Democrats of lying about what they say in their unannounced oversight visit last week: “Their claims this facility is overcrowded and horrific are FALSE. ICE has higher detention standards than most U.S. prisons that hold actual U.S. citizens.”
