#Reporters
fascinated by political reporters who see their job as disciplining democrats and not just explaining what is happening
There's a difference between a blowout and a mandate. Confusing the two could tempt Democrats to overread the results and forget the serious credibility problem they still face heading into 2028.
Democrats could learn wrong message from a blowout victory
A big Election Night could mask the party's larger image problem.

the “they have good reporters” line is so frustrating because okay then why don’t those reporters ever seem to raise a stink about their work being devalued by sharing space with bullshit
Lot of you still doing the "NYT has the right to defend itself" thing every time they conspire against Democrats. "They have a lot of good reporters." Who gives a fuck. The US Army will bomb the shit out of your country then come back a few months later with some bags of rice. Or used to anyway.
The NYT as we all know is doing this because every single person who works there is a zionist and islamophobe. If they weren't they would surely have quit by now.

We've got reporters in the field talking to voters, which is always a recipe for hearing wild stuff.
I've been talking to voters today in Greenwich, CT. One resident expressed concern about fascism and how it affects the world young people are entering.

Afterwards, he advised me and all young people to try and buy a house in Greenwich, one of the most expensive markets in the nation.

It's hilarious that his response to this story breaking was to ban the reporters who broke it.
Mike Lawler is maybe only 10th on my list of possible GOP flips I'd most celebrate. But if he loses BECAUSE he stiffed his canvassers, I'd be thrilled.
