Just a couple years ago it was "have fun being poor," "your job is going away, you're being replaced loser," "you better reskill because this is the only thing that matters now." So yeah I'm hostile to the idea and I think everyone into it is a thief and a loser

im not exactly convinced you can reskill into AI. what does that even mean? the "skills issues" points to things like curiosity, epistemology, domain expertise, good judgement, taste, etc which were all things we largely failed to systematically skill over the last two decades

God I am so mad about the push for AI in the workplace. An active drive to de-skill people. What happens when this technology becomes too expensive? Or goes the way of NFTs? What's the plan to reskill an entire section of the workforce, just to get them back to step one?
