The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) report reveals Jersey Mike's has surpassed Chick-fil-A as the top-rated quick-service restaurant, ending Chick-fil-A's 11-year reign. While Chick-fil-A's score remained unchanged at 83, Jersey Mike's improved slightly to 84, driven by factors like freshness, food variety, and perceived value. This shift highlights growing competition in the fast-food sector, with customers increasingly prioritizing these aspects. Chick-fil-A still leads in the chicken category, maintaining strong customer satisfaction scores, particularly in drive-thru experiences. The report underscores that while Chick-fil-A's ratings haven't declined, rivals like Jersey Mike's have gained ground by emphasizing quality and value. The broader fast-food category also saw a drop in customer satisfaction, suggesting heightened sensitivity to cost and overall dining experience.
