You can actually turn it off *completely,* I believe, so basically you as the player don’t see anything Link wouldn’t see (no aiming reticle, button prompts, etc).

Swapped to Pro HUD instead of Master
still gets rid of the entire HUD, but keeps the aiming reticle when I need it

Playing the OoT remake with in-game interface set to "master" feels so nice. Absolutely 0 UI or reticle for aiming but aiming still feels intuitive.

I'm surprised with the "Master" interface mode! It makes a gorgeous game even more immersive, but it isn't joking about "no information". The little dialogue pop-up bubbles above characters are gone, there's no text to introduce NPCs/locations, and even the aiming reticle is gone 😂

You get an aiming reticle when using the slingshot and little indications for hearts and item totals briefly when relevant but it hides everything persistent. You can also hold the left stick in during dialog to hide the text boxes.
