You could make a new saga out of Revan's journey through the Mandalorian Wars from young jedi to war hero and eventually warlord with her fall to the dark side.
And yes, they'd almost certainly cast Revan as a man but in KOTOR you can pick either so w/e Revan is always a woman to me.
