Technically, Rexulti is indicated only for agitation in dementia due to Alzheimer’s Disease. I’m skeptical of how practical that narrow indication is.

There's always Viagra or Cialis, which conveniently leaves out the AFAB depressed people.
Plus as a bipolar 2 guy, I have to watch out against being pushed up too high.
There are new adjunct meds like Rexulti (did nuffin) and Caplyta (amazing for me).

hmm, I've lost 7 pounds within a month
unsure if this really is because the rexulti made me gain weight, or if it's also because of the appetite suppressant effects of the adhd meds

I'm on Zoloft plus Rexulti and Seroquel. I have no problems with Adderall.

Nobody's evaluating an acutely psychotic patient and going "hmmm, haldol maybe? nah abilify or rexulti is the right choice for this guy."

i'm on a new antipsych called rexulti with my pristiq and i honestly don't think it's doing anything good rn but it's only been 3 days so who knows. my doc said it'd help with the sticky thoughts from ocd getting intense. the weed should hopefully make my brain more calm.

Several of the atypical antipsychotics have been approved for depression as well (Abilify, Seroquel & Rexulti IIRC) and some of those are available as monthly depot injections. She could also have had a diagnosis of Schizoaffective disorder, which is basically a mood disorder on top of schizophrenia

Honestly, the most likely explanation for his mouth and body movements is tardive dyskinesia from anti-psychotics like Rexulti used to treat dementia. The frequent Walter Reed imaging is probably monitoring the progression and plaque formation in the brain. His symptoms and outbursts track.
