is this a sword and shield issue or will this also affect me in Scarlet and Violet (also I don’t really care about the other Pokemon here mainly just the Lycanroc cause that’s the Ribbon Master…) for now at least I can just use a rental team…

(in battle tree if you lost at match 35 you’d have to restart from match 1 whereas here if you lost at match 35 you’d start at 34) it just felt easier throughout honestly…

it also helps that my strategy with Lycanroc was to lead with it to set up stealth rock and if it took too much damage to use Accelrock… which stealth rock alone halves the HP of the only dyna/gigantamax foe here so…
