On the face of it, this TPU inner tube patch kit seems good value for ~£6. The patches are nicely flexible, unlike the relatively stiff RideNow self adhesive patches. 'Camplast' TPU fusing cement is encouraging too. I have a TPU tube waiting for repair, so efficacy test incoming...

RideNow are hit and miss. Aerothans suck. The Pirellis are good but expensive. I use the RideNows I got for spares but they leak at about 1 psi/hr

Ich fahre seit 2 Jahren TPU, bisher ohne Panne. Bisher RideNow 36gramm (2 Stück 20€) und seit zwei Monaten Topolino. Ich kann TPU echt empfehlen

RideNow. Mutta näitä valmistaa ihan Contit ja Pirellit jne. RideNowta myydään ainakin aliexpressissä. Kannattaa ostaa näitä uudempi joissa venttiilin rööri on alumiinia, ei muovia.

I have, less of a hassle than tubeless, roll better than butyl and are lighter/smaller. I would recommend buying them on aliexpress, ridenow is good and costs about 5€ a pop. Only downside is that you cant patch them, which is why I kinda prefer butyl as a spare.

RideNOW and Cyclami are both Chinese brands, but that's not a knock on them. They're good enough, about the same price/unit as a lightweight butyl tube from Conti. They do airdown a bit faster though in my experience though that might have been as a result of using them in single wall rims.

Enjoy it! Received TPU tubes(RideNow with removable valve cores) today and immediately fitted them, all predictions say I am gonna love these starting from tomorrow

So Pt 1 of test complete. The new Pirelli patches seem to properly bond to the TPU inner using the Camplast cement. The RideNow patches just didn't 'cut it'. I think the previous patch detached simply due to the flexing of the tyre at lower pressures. Road test next...

They just pack smaller than a butyl one, and are lighter. Just find them more convenient for that reason. And at the Ali express price just as cheap. A lot of YouTubers use the ridenow brand from Ali express, I've not tried those, and are a little more expensive

continental town/country for larger sizes, gatorskin hard shells for 23-40c range, and get some ridenow tpu tubes from aliexpress. you can also consider going tubeless but that’s slightly more expensive and maintenance intensive but it has the advantage of fixing small pinholes
