Went on a morning walk in de Schammer, it was a lot more cloudy than I expected, but when there was a little bit of sun, this juvenile ring-necked pheasant walked by in the grass.

Ring-necked pheasant on a footbridge. The bird is standing straight up and looking to the left. Its body is various hues of gold and reddish brown which looks shiny. It also has black spots all across. Its neck is white with one spot of red at the bottom. The head appears black with a couple white stripes on top and red around the eyes. Ring-necked pheasant posing for a photo. The bird is facing right. It is a very colorful bird with a dark head that appears to have a hint of both green and purple in it and white spots on the top. Its orange eye and with a large black pupil is surround by a deep red wattle which hangs down a couple inches below the eye. The beak is silver. Below the head is a white collar. The body is mostly a metallic gold and rust with white spots above and dark spots below. Just above the tail the feathers are white on top and a reddish orange underneath. A very long tan tail with brown spots stretches out behind the bird. The legs are grey. The pheasant is standing on something above ground level and the background of the photo is blurred but appears to be a natural setting.
