It’s entirely possible, but unlikely, that RoSaGa 3: Destinies United isn’t a remake of RoSaGa 3 but a single player version of Re;universe in the style of FF Resonance and Octopath Traveller 0. That game takes place 300 years after RoSaGa 3 afterall.

Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered adds a bunch of new adjustments and each one has an option to turn them on or off individually. RoSaGa 2 ROTS has lots and I’m sure RoSaGa 3 DU will too.

Golden week sales are up on Steam for the SaGa series.
But if you are interested in SaGa Frontier, SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions. RoSaGa 3, or the older RoSaGa 2, consider using GOG as they just added those 4 DRM free in their preservation program.

Do you like SaGa?
Actually, you don’t get a say in it. You love SaGa!
They are on sale on Steam! Get them!
(Not on sale on GOG, so if you want DRM free versions of Frontier, Scarlet Grace, the pixel version of RoSaGa 2, or RoSaGa 3, you have permission to wait)

Finished The Secret of Varonis. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys SaGa 1&2 (Final Fantasy Legend 1&2) and the last area takes a few pages from RoSaGa 1&3.
Now to take a shower and decide what to play next.

Tonight I’m going to start RoSaGa 3, Yakuza 2, or Bloodstained. All depends on what I feel like when I get home.

I think the styles of RoSaGa 2: ROTS, Trials of Mana, etc look great. I’d happily play 3 games that look like that than one photorealistic game

That would be fine with me but I’d rather a Xeen made full remake of RoSaGa 3, of course.

Honestly that would be an easier game to remake than RoSaGa 3.

Frontiers and Minstrel Song need the remake treatment less. Honestly RoSaGa 3 and Unlimited SaGa need it far more than Frontier 1 or 2. RoSaGa 1: MS just needs camera control.

Moved my schedule around a little.
If there is the possibility of a RoSaGa 3 announcement, I’m not going to miss it!
(But I expect it to be announced on a Nintendo Direct, not a State of Play)

State of Play returns on September 3, followed immediately by State of Play Japan!

By the way, do you recommend any particular starting character for RoSaGa 1?
