Dozens of poster boards going up in the big Labour Vs Greens by-election …. That is of course, in Rodborough Stroud District
Though even meetings were good for one thing: sketching. Our meeting was at the Bear of Rodborough Hotel, not far from Woodchester. A few months later I was offered redundancy/early retirement.

Used to drive across both commons regularly, when living in The Cotswolds.
Being late for work because a coo was stationary in the middle of the road is 1 of the more novel excuses!
