It's kinda funny that every single one of these is more or less made to appeal to the diehard roleplayers in GTA Online, when GTA6 won't even have a multiplayer component for god knows how long
I think that videogames shouldn't be afraid to be videogame-y and unrealistic, actually

People unfortunately still want that narrative: There's a huge amount of human roleplayers whose characters are either strongly sceptic or downright hostile towards the Church of Holy Light, even though there is no real in-world justification for that. It's a stand-in for RL-Church and their evils.

I can see roleplayers being unhappy that the whole cool new world is someplace we probably can't go (hi, it's me, but it's fine if it means a good story), but the rest of it is... they listened to feedback and are trying to make the experience of playing the game better???
