Look, you can say whatever the fuck you want. But it's not going to change the fact that saying/writing the romanized version of a Japanese title in the middle of an otherwise English sentence when an official localization exists makes you sound like a dork.
It's not up to individuals to localize. They can use the original titles if they want to. Maybe "elitism" is the wrong word to describe his "Only Japanese people can use the original Japanese title. Everyone else is a loser who should be bullied." attitude.
