The 2012 campaign is in retrospect such a notable point in How We Got Here because Romney was treated as a quintessential moderate while proposing absolutely massive social cuts much in line with Trump’s bill while the entire GOP campaign was bad faith manufactured outrage about fake gaffes
The reaction to Obama’s “you didn’t build that” comment was a lights are flashing red moment in retrospect.
