We are home within 2 hours, doc was happy that fever was responsive to meds and warned it can last up to 5 days going up and down from 40 degrees (!) given the current system-affecting bug, and we have vacated the roofbox of all the soft camping items while somehow not waking the kids

Winter solstice, Newgrange, 5,000 years ago. At dawn the sunrise finds the roofbox and light walks the passage into the chamber. The oldest aligned doorway we know of (O'Kelly, 1967). I rebuilt that moment as a watercolor-style print. More soon. — Lior

Winter solstice, Newgrange, 5,000 years ago. At dawn the sunrise finds the roofbox and light walks the passage into the chamber. The oldest aligned doorway we know of (O'Kelly, 1967). I rebuilt that moment as a watercolor-style print. More soon. — Lior

Your next challenge is to take it on a real family holiday with roofbox and bike rack. I’ve done this in my EV and found roofbox -10%, box plus bike rack -20%, bike rack alone -35%. Think the bikes sit like a parachute out back and a roofbox takes a lot of the airflow over it.

I reported on the paper and was shocked to find that the roofbox in Newgrange was dismantled and rebuilt in a higher position than it originally was - what does that mean for the whole winter solstice illumination thing? I genuinely wonder.
