Stripped one of them when I was at college. Amazing engineering. Glued the rotor blades (equivalent of piston rings) in with vaseline as instructed by Norton.

It was even better than they advertised! Ceramic speed bb, brand new Rotor x2 power meter and brand new Rotor oval rings! Just hope i can do it justice! I have a new Disc wheel to go it too, so the Dura Ace will be my training wheels!

Yeah, the highest torque on a bicycle that I've run across is the 40Nm for cassette lock rings and center-lock brake rotor lock rings. They both have a slip washer under their mating surfaces which is interesting, probably to eliminate galling on the large aluminum to aluminum mating surface?

I get that. The Ferodos came with the AP Racing brakes I have. They chunk and are really hard on the rotor rings and wear down quick. GLoc have better feel and bite, but are not as damaging to the rotors.
